# Contribution Guidelines

There a wealth of openly accessible materials on `Introduction to demographic methods` course offered worldwide. However, we did not identify a comprehensive list referring to these materials. The goal of this awesome list is to become a central place for those seeking to find openly accessible materials to learn from, use in teaching and research (and especially those new to the field) which provides
all resources that are relevant for demographic methods.

Please contribute to the list by sending [pull
requests](https://github.com/OpenScienceDemography/awesome-demographic-methods/pulls)
or by fixing an
[issue](https://github.com/OpenScienceDemography/awesome-demographic-methods/issues). If you wish to propose edits and items to be added without opening a pull request that is also fine, you can open an issue and we will try to add it.

Suggestions for new sections, or restructuring of sections are also welcome.

This project is released with a
[Contributor Code of Conduct](code-of-conduct.md). By participating in this
project you agree to abide by its terms.

## Rules

- Please do not simply copy and paste specific links from other awesome lists. Instead, suggest the inclusion of the whole awesome list if the topic is relevant for demographic methods.

- Please don't use this list to promote your own work.

### Note on the use of Artificial Intelligence

By adding an item to the list, **you take full responsibility that you have checked the link and ensured its accuracy**. Hence, if you use AI as an assistant, that does not remove your responsibility as the human in the loop to check and review the URLs and items to make sure they are accurate and not hallucinated.
